Hi, I'm Marc. I don't think there’s anyone on this planet who is as obsessed with photography like I am. I've been a photographer for most of my life and have had deep conversations with and filmed some of the biggest names in photography, like Annie Leibovitz, Joe McNally, Chris Burkard and dozens and dozens of others.
My students have learned how to create photographs they are proud to share. They have created their own books, been in exhibits and even been published in National Geographic.
With the demands of family and career I had fallen away from photography. Then came the digital age and I jumped back in and restarted my career as a professional photographer.
24 months later, I had clients, exhibits, my photographs in print and magazines.
I learned how to capture amazing photos everywhere and learned the composition keys to excellent photos. I was able to create photographs that I felt were worth sharing or exhibiting.
If you can learn the steps to making outstanding photos you can achieve great results.
But here’s the harsh truth about finding and creating beautiful photographs:
Great photographs are not about the latest gear, “gimmicks” or “tricks”. An understanding and use of tools that have guided artists for ages is needed.
The internet is saturated with new gear, tricks, and shortcuts.
Most photographers don't want to hear this, but here it is:
Your ability to tell stories with your photographs by your use of composition tools make all the difference.
You have to approach the art of photography with the same professionalism that you bring to your gear.
And you have to follow a proven, simple, step by step informed process to be
creative as a photographer.
Otherwise, you're just throwing mud against the wall and hoping it sticks. That rarely works. :)
Creating amazing photographs requires a process with five critical steps.
These steps must be understood and followed in order to capture amazing photos everywhere and create photographs worth sharing or exhibiting.
